Help Scout believes your team should only pay for the contacts you help, and you should have as many users supporting those contacts as you’d like. That’s why all of our plans include unlimited users. Your bill will be determined based on the number of contacts you help each month, and the Plan, or group of features, you choose to support them with.
With seat-based pricing, your team has limited access to your customers, AI is always an add-on cost, and your bill fluctuates 60% of the time. With Help Scout’s usage-based pricing, your whole company has access to the voice of the customer, AI is included, and it’s more predictable thanks to our fair billing policy (see below). And we still beat the competition on affordability.
Nope! You can invite as many members of your team into Help Scout as you want, without any additional costs. We are big believers in whole-company support, and the value you can unlock across the business when everyone gets closer to your customers.
Want to use AI? We’ve got you covered! Help Scout’s AI features are included in all paid plans. Use AI to edit, draft, and summarize as much as you want. And when AI resolves a customer issue through self-service, that counts as a contact helped, and will be included toward your monthly total.
A contact is anyone you send a reply to. You can have multiple conversations with the same person, and it still counts as one contact. It also includes anyone who has confirmed a resolution to their issue through AI self-service options.
If you don’t know the number of contacts you respond to each month, you use this calculator to estimate your contacts helped.
You’ll be able to keep helping your customers, and your bill won’t change. In fact, you must reach a new contact tier for three consecutive months before your bill changes. This is all part of our fair billing policy (see below).
You shouldn't be taxed for seasonal influxes of contacts when things are going well. With Help Scout, you must exceed the current contact tier for three consecutive months before we move you up. It goes the other way, too. We'll move you to a lower tier if you are below your current tier for three straight months.
